In this podcast we hear from Howard McCurdy, a professor of public administration and policy at American University and an authority on space history and policy. Dr. McCurdy examines four factors that are commonly associated with innovation and places stories from the first fifty years of United States space flight into his framework in order to help clarify the government’s role in the space program.
